Job Description

    JOB PURPOSE
    Collect and prepare Marketing information and perform data analysis to help management in decision-making and identifying brand market opportunities.

    Supervision of Subordinates
    § Organise and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Marketing section activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy
    § Compliance with policy and procedures
    § Efficiency of activities performed
    Budgets and Plans
    § Contribute to the preparation of the Marketing section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified
    § Budgets and plans are prepared timely and accurately in line with the annual budget parameters and timescales
    § Financial variance versus budget
    Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
    § Recommend improvements to policy and direct the implementation of instructions covering all areas of Marketing activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service
    § Compliance with procedural and legislative requirements
    § Effective communication of policies, procedures and instructions
    Day- to-day operations
    § Supervises the day-to-day operations of Marketing to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures

    Data Gathering & Analysing
    § Gather & analyse data (quantitative and qualitative) and competitor Reports and come up with sound actions & conclusions.

    Qualitative Research
    · Run qualitative research projects and summarize learnings.

    Marketing Projects
    · Develop CPS for marketing projects.
    · Lead execution of marketing project as per CPS.

    Pricing
    · Conduct pricing analysis and recommend specific actions.
    · Brands pricing is conducted and actions recommended.

    § Ensure that all activities are monitored and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards

    § Lead the implementation of projects to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives

    § Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

    Reporting
    § Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Marketing to meet Savola and department requirements, policies and standards
    § All reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet company policies and requirements

    § Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude
    § Frequency of non-compliance with standards, local legislation and company policies on HSE

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
    Academic and professional qualifications:
    § Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any other relevant major.
    § Excellent Windows & MS Office knowledge.
    Experience:
    § 0 - 2 years relevant experience in a major fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) with proven experience in a multi-national or local leading-edge company
